Dear Mr Ross,

The Dakar Series is hosting the Merzouga Rally from the 21 to 27 May 2016 in Casablanca,

Morrocco. I would like to offer Hyundai South Africa an opportunity for advertising exposure

at this event.

This six-day event is to be broadcast by 24 broadcasters by way of a 52-minute highlight

show. This world-wide coverage will reach 190 countries via some of the most watched

sports networks such as Eurosport, Fox Sports, Supersport and OSN to name a few.

Moroccan public television, SNRT, will also provide daily coverage from the rally. News

from the rally will be posted on the Merzouga Rally website as well as the event’s Twitter,

Facebook and Instagram accounts. This event will also benefit from the Dakar community’s

1.8 million social network followers and subscribers.

I have been accepted to race in the Merzouga Rally.

I have just returned home from racing in the Abu Dhabi

Desert Challenge, which is a pre-qualifying event for

the Dakar 2017 Rally. I was placed 10th overall in this

international event. This was my first international Rally.

Being an 9 times Enduro motorcycle champion created

a dream for me to complete the Dakar Rally.

I have also completed the Roof of Africa Rally Extreme

Enduro on many occasions.

I know i can add great value with my personal attributes

alongside any brand, with my large following and as an

ambassador to the sport, always open to talk publically

and carry brands who join me on

my journey to only succeed.

The total cost for me to participate in this rally is €15,000. I would therefore like to
