Grading Scale

• Regular grading scale• A= 90%-100%• B= 80% - 89.9%• C= 70% - 79.9%• D = 55% -69.9 %• F –below 55%

Intervention• This year biology is introducing intervention to insure

success for all students.• After an exam students will have the opportunity to take

an exam similar to the unit exam.– Students will have two weeks to complete intervention– Eligibility for a retake exam requires 90 min. of intervention +

time to retake test.– Intervention will be offered before and after school Monday –

Thursday 6:45- 7:35am and 2:45-3:30pm– Original and retake scores will be averaged regardless of

scores.– Staffed by a credentialed biology teacher.

• All students who earn below a 70% on an exam are expected to attend intervention.– Complete Details will be sent home next week.
