David Bowen is currently a Program Management Director with Alcatel-Lucent. In this role, David leads a team providing all aspects of program management services for AT&T’s IMS deployments. As part of this role, David was the Director responsible for the delivery of the first tier 1 telecom service provider IMS network in the world. David has provided program management consultation to multiple international clients and has over 20 years of telecommunications industry experience. David was also responsible for the project management of multiple international clients’ network upgrades driven by the need for Y2K compliance.

David’s public speaking experience includes; The International Symposium on Quality Function Deployment, Y2K forums for the Department of the Treasury and the Department of Commerce, as well as engagements with multiple telecommunication service provider clients.

David is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). David holds a Master’s in Project Management from George Washington University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University. David spends time volunteering for the Leukemia –Lymphoma Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Boy Scouts of America. He is also a coach for his children’s baseball and softball teams. David is currently available for consultations through Alcatel-Lucent’s Services division.
