    Circular for Summer Vacation “Days of fun, now not in a burn, summer holidays are a

    Pleasure and Children’s treasure.”

    With the summer temperature soaring high, children as well as their

    parents look forward to vacation time when they can relax from the scorching heat,

    visit family relatives and friends, travel to explore and basically chill out enjoying

    those little pleasures of life which get left behind during the busy school routines.

    This year Summer Break is scheduled from 16h June, 2018 to 10th July, 2018

    for Classes 8th, 10th, & 10+1. The School will re- open on 11th July, 2018 (Wednesday).

    To ensure that the children have a constructive vacation, some

    Assignments and Projects are planned which will keep them active and observant

    during holidays. These projects can easily be done by the children and you can assist

    only when required.

    During Holidays-

    a) Motivate your ward to interact with knowledgeable books because it not only enhances the knowledge acquired but also develops the vocabulary, language

    skills and improves spellings.

    b) Practice common English daily routine sentences with your children to enhance their spoken ability and fluency as Communication skills play a pivotal role in

    grooming the overall personality of the children.

  • c) Be observant while your ward watches TV and use Mobile Phones or Internet. Fix up a time table for your ward to organize his/ her daily routine like watching

    television, playing with friends, studying etc.

    d) Encourage your child to go out for the early morning walk and in the evening to play outdoors.

    e) Spare your time to play board games with your children i.e. Chess, Ludo, Carrom etc.

    f) Carry on with the practice of wishing to elders by joining hands and touching feet.

    g) All family members must try to take at least two meals together daily.

    h) Make your child responsible by assigning some of the household responsibilities to him/ her like watering plants, arranging the dining table, organizing his/ her

    room and cupboards, fill the empty water bottles and put them in refrigerator.

    i) Avoid giving chocolates, jellies, kurkures, chips, soft drinks as they may lead to health problems.

    Above mentioned guidelines will help your child to become a smart and an active learner.

    Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide to recognize the

    contribution of father to the lives of their children. This day

    celebrates fatherhood for their selfless love and protection. To

    strengthen this bond, Let’s celebrate “FATHER’S DAY” which

    falls on 17th June (3rd Sunday) this year.

    Take help of your mother and plan a surprise by cooking

    something of his choice and make him feel special. Catch the

    joyous moments and paste them on an A4 size pastel sheet. Bring

    it to school to share the lovely bond of love, with your friends

    and teachers.

    Secret for being successful Respect time. Work hard and put in your best without caring about the result. Fix a clear and an objective goal. Always take initiative. Welcome opportunities and explore.

  • Guidelines for Homework Completion: Enjoy doing homework, it’s not a burden.

    Homework should be neat and presentable.

    Be simple and avoid over decoration.

    Use separate notebooks for different subjects.

    Avoid cutting and overwriting.

    Compile and submit your homework in clear bags well labeled with your Name, Class and Roll No.
