rippa.
Aaron went to Parawai Primary School and then went to Thames High School.
During these years his LOVE of rugby developed…..
He played for the Thames Valley Roller Mills when he was 12 years old
When he started High School he played through the grades. Here is a photo of him playing for the Thames High 3rd Grade team when
he was 14 years old (1 year older than Ethan)

Aaron McDonald
After Aaron left school he went and played rugby for the Thames Rugby and Sports Club, playing in the under 21s team before he started playing for the Senior team. He broke his leg playing rugby when he was 20 years old.
Aaron’s nick name is ONION, he got that because his head looked like an onion after he had shaved his hair off but left a little bit of hair on top by mistake when he was about 18years.
Aaron’s rugby position was HALFBACK , No 9
He represented Thames Valley Rugby Union from 1996 -2004, then from 2010 - 2014
After getting married and having 2 children he went back to play rugby for Thames Valley needing only 30 games to get his 100.
Aaron is the 8th person in the history of Thames Valley Rugby to get 100 games, they are called Centurions.

Valley colours
The reason Aaron McDonald is my hero is because he is my DAD!!!
I am proud of my Dad because he is a good rugby player and has
played over 100 games for the
Thames Valley Rugby Union.
He has been a great sportsman, and has
worked hard over the years.
