Date: 23-Oct-12 Author: P. Tuckett Doc Title: Web site - current status A new web site and related capability is needed for the business. The current web site for PGA is dated and incomplete and the PGI website is very poor and completely inadequate.

Overall plan:

It is agreed that the web site should cover all parts of the PG business including PG Australia, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, and all other related activities as they occur,

A target was set to have a new combined website operating in Q1 2013, and volunteers would be identified from each office, to provide input and contribute to the style, substance and content of the web site. The bulk of the work will occur in the coming few months.

Key Elements: 1. Common web site for all offices/business units. 2. All existing web domains to be retained for now with all leading to a single domain (to be decided) 3. Adequate information to be provided to ensure each office/business unit retains their own identity,

although a common theme/message will apply to all. 4. Project Sponsor, to guide overall concept and direction, with a project manager to lead a team

comprising representatives from each office.

Key Criteria: Johnston, Singh, Manners & Tuckett will decide the key criteria including: a. Company theme & messages b. Target audience c. Scale & Scope of web site (how much information, etc) d. Business & technology capability messages e. External Graphic Designer (Robyn Zwar) already engaged to provide input, advice, & selected

content, f. Web site creation - to be outsourced, with the content created internally g. Budget – nominally $20K? (including web site and graphic content to be created, unlikely to cover

new videos, etc) h. Assemble a team with representatives from each office, with a team leader to coordinate. i. Tuckett will remain as overall project sponsor.

Overview Plan & Schedule: Once the key elements are agreed, we have a team to carry out the web site rebuild as a project

1. Establish team participants (minimum one from each office) & Team Leader

2. Inform Paul Lobosco of status, progress, etc for final web site hosting management arrangements

3. Reference sites for ideas on content, words/phrases, images, look and messages

4. Team to agree on plan including:

a. How to ensure the theme & message is consistent throughout the web site

b. Content with long lead time/complex to create (eg: animations, videos, etc) to be outsourced,

c. Content that can be completed in-house & assign this to be completed by when and by who

d. Agree on complexity/sophistication of site, including layers, pages, links to other sites, etc

e. Agree on target completion/go-live date of finished web site

5. Outsource web site building to external supplier with content supplied by PG/PGI/PGS

Web site theme / key message: Previously we had selected the following theme: Innovation through design

DJ changed this to: Innovative Process Solutions.

A theme is important when used consistently and where we believe in it.

If we agree that we need a theme, we need to agree which theme we want or revisit a new theme so we agree on what we want as our theme/message.

Essential to establish a consistent message throughout the web site content, which is a mix of words, style and visual imagery. I won’t try to address this here.

Mission & Vision: Our current Vision is:

• Wealth creator for all stakeholders • Superior reputation • Positioned for future growth in Asia

Our current Mission is:

To partner with our clients and together generate strategic advantage from our service delivery by:

• Designing innovative options that maximize benefits • Controlling detailed design & fabrication processes to guarantee quality and delivery • Producing plants that are reliable, efficient & productive • Maintaining skilled and motivated personnel who are committed to technical excellence,

craftsmanship and customer focus Do these need to be reviewed / revisited? Lifted from GPS’ web site:

Web site size & Contents: Suggest we come up with an index of content first as part of an overall Site map.

Refer the Appendix 2 for the 1st level page for each main category.

We are short of a number of key areas/topics:

1. Our Technologies section has information on each technology, plus a link to bother a Product Brochure and Case studies. These need significant updates, and more recent Case Studies need to be created. The Case Studies appear to be the most sought-after information where Clients & EPC check on our capabilities by looking at what we have done, rather than looking at what we SAY we can do.

2. Photo library: related to the above, there is always has a lot of interest in what we have done in photo form, as this is our Company Resume…..

3. Graphics: we have a rich source of graphic images from our AutoCAD 3D models, and we can use these as real examples (as opposed to generic examples) of our capabilities of what we have designed and built.

4. People: I don’t think we emphasize our people enough, or our collective capabilities, systems (IFS, etc) skills, passion, etc?

5. History: we have (reasonably) long history so should we include a section on this? Item below from Aker Solutions web site:

6. Company – what is our main focus and purpose? Our Vision & Mission are motherhood staples. See the attached below lifted from GPS’ web site.

Also, what about our CSR?:

News Items:

These are important and assist in attracting traffic through Google Rankings but also to show our Clients & EPC’s what we have done recently. This is a big part of our credibility so we should aim for news items to be posted at least once monthly.

However, this needs a lot of effort to continue chasing to get good and valid content to upload, along with reasonable quality photos or images.

Add-on services/capabilities: Newsletter

I see a Newsletter as an essential part of our image and marketing activity. I suggest we aim for Newsletters to be issued automatically to a subscribers list, with a frequency goal of somewhere between 1 -3 months. These need to be more professional that what we issue internally and need careful oversight.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) capability

We have this capability now but it is not very user-friendly, and it is not connected to our website so it is not used. Suggest we incorporate into our web site to make it simpler and accessible.

Agent Log-in capability

I used this previously at APS to allow all Agents to log-in to get the latest information, brochures, news, etc. Do you see a need for this?

Social media:

This includes formats like Twitter, Facebook, Linked-in, etc.

I would propose that we select one, and favour Linked-in as a forum that I use and contact work colleagues on (and get contacted on). Like all of these, we have to support these formats or they are largely wasted, and can be time consuming.

Others?
