Early life[edit]

Tank was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, [2] and moved with his family as a child to Washington, D... 

!e was a multis"ort athlete at rossland !igh #chool and was offered the o""ortunity to "lay

college football.[$] !owever, Tank decided to focus on music and his talent eventually led him to ano""ortunity to sing background vocals for  %inuwine during one of %inuwine&s tours.[$]

Music career[edit]

'n 2(($, following %inuwine&s successful tour, Tank released his debut album Force of Nature which

s"awned the )*+ To" Ten single Maybe ' Deserve. 'n 2((2, Tank released his second album One

Man and a single of the same name.

Tank released his third solo album entitled Sex, Love & Pain on May $-, 2((. The lead single was

intended to be ' /uv Dem %irls, but for unknown reasons the song was given to Mar0ues!ouston who renamed it #tri" lub and subse0uently did not release it on his own album

1eteran. Tank&s first single off this third album was the Timbaland remi to ' /uv Dem %irls. The

second single was 3lease Don&t %o. /ater in the year Tank, %inuwine and Tyrese %ibson formed a

grou" called T%T. Their first single was a remi of 3lease Don&t %o. The grou" was "ut on hold

due to contractual issues, but would go on to sign a contract with 4tlantic )ecords in #e"tember

2($2.

Tank released his fourth studio album, Now or Never , on December $5, 2($(. Tank collaborated with

artists who included hris +rown, Drake, /etoya /uckett on this "ro6ect. The singles were #e

Music, ' an&t Make 7ou /ove Me, and 8mergency.

Tank released his fifth studio album entitled This Is How I Feel  on May 9, 2($2. Tank collaborated

with the artists hris +rown, +usta )hymes, T.'. and :ris #te"hens on the album. The song

om"liments, featuring :ris #te"hens and T.'., was released as the lead single on ;ctober $,

2($$. The song <et +reath was released on =anuary >, 2($2 as the second single off the album.

;n #e"tember $5, 2($>, Tank sang the ?.#. national anthem before the @loyd Mayweather vs. #aAl

 BlvareC fight in /as 1egas, <evada.
