NAS.NET TIME KEEPING MANAGEMENT

Currently the majority of organizations are oriented to control

employees’ sign-in and sign-out via time keeping machines. Accordingly, HITS

has designed NAS.NET time keeping in order to integrate with any time

keeping machine database. Hence this module is considered the optimum

solution for controlling employees’ punctuality for working hours and its

consequent over and short time.

Entirely customizable rules

Despite the sophistication of organizations’ shifts system and time rules,

NAS.NET time keeping application can be configured to handle the most

sophisticated business cases; such as over-night shifts, split shifts, and more.

Users can define an unlimited number of shifts with various types and details.

Also users can define unlimited number of shifts rules; users can prepare

weekly or monthly schema for shifts. In addition, the module automatically

detects holidays and days off, as a result of integration with days off and

holidays’ calendar. Furthermore, users can apply different hour rates per shift

for configuring overtime and short time.

Clickable Online Shift Assignment

Via HITS online unmatched user-interface, HR users and Line Managers

can easily obtain a very informative and elegant shifts plan for employees and

subordinates.

Integration with Personnel Vacation Management

NAS.NET Time keeping is an integrated part of HR core, so all the

machines’ readings are translated to HITS vacation management for each

Seamless Integration with Payroll

NAS.NET Time keeping module provides a seamless integration with

payroll system. Consequently, the system can calculate over and short time

automatically based on system setup criteria. Then these calculated figures

can be posted in a batch to payroll, if applicable.

Integration with different Machines Type

NAS.NET Time keeping can integrate easily with most of machines’

databases via ODBC to machine’s online database files. Time keeping machines

designed with finger-print, magnetic cards, or proximity technology.

Rich on-line Time-Keeping Reports

NAS.NET Time keeping provides many reports that help users retrieve

significant time keeping data easily. Users can check, export and print reports

that compare actual machine readings with vacation records.

Over and Short Time Workflow Permissions

NAS.NET Time keeping provides an organization with another feature for

monitoring and controlling over and short time and their consequent earnings

or deductions. Therefore, over and short time permissions are provided upon

online workflow, so that employees can obtain approvals before taking any of

them. On the other hand, in case time permissions were configured, yet an

employee did not submit the relevant request. Then the system by default will

not calculate detected overtime, and will deduct detected short time.

NAS.NET MS OFFICE INTEGRATION

NAS.NET office integration is designed to unleash the power of your

creativity. It gives you the capabilities to export vital data needed from built-in

system reports to MS Excel, and subsequently to MS Word, so that data can be

used in mail merge with MS word, or into calculation with MS Excel. It is easy

and flexible and can be used by normal HR users. In addition, MS office

integration can be utilized to export system output data and apply some

statistical operations; along with utilizing pivot tables and their relevant

graphical representations for further visual analysis.

Create Your Own Forms Easily

With exporting on MS Word, this feature helps you in creating different

templates for different purposes such as; contracts, birthday letters, warning

letters, annual bonus, and appraisal letters, etc.

Apply Numerous Functions and Statistics on Excel

With MS Excel, users can export any kind of data displayed by system

reports via this feature, in order to apply various statistical operations such

as; monthly reports, what-if-scenarios, bonus calculations and more.

Export Filtered Data

It includes ad-hoc filter, so that a user can select data according to a

certain combination of criteria. A special dictionary for the databases is added

to explain the required fields in details. Preview the data you select before the

export process. You can define the name of the file and the directory you want

to export to.

NAS.NET ORGANIZATION CHART

Drawing and updating employees’ organization chart has always been a

real hard job that demands efforts and time. NAS.NET Organization Chart has

converted a task which was considered a hardship issue into an effortless one.

This feature interfaces with MS Visio® to draw rapidly employees’

organization chart based on the selected organization units and other details

via the provided utility filter. After exporting to MS Visio®, a user can add

whatever is needed as per Visio provided features.

Choosing Shapes within NAS.NET

You can customize position to be drawn in Visio with different shapes

such as; executives, managers, vacant positions, etc. Note that, in case a

position was vacant at the time of displaying the organization chart, then the

system will include it within the organizational hierarchy, yet the system will

mark it as being vacant at the mean time; as shown in the figure below.

Draw both Employees’-Organization or Company

Structure

With NAS.NET organization Chart, a user can choose either to draw

employees’ organization chart with auto estimation of employees’ hierarchy

or the structure of your company such as division, department, section, etc.

NAS.NET GENERAL LEDGER INTERFACE

NAS.NET integrates easily with other Financial Back Office Systems such

as; Oracle Financials®, J.D. Edwards®, Sun-Account®, SAP®, PeopleSoft®,

Fidelio and more. NAS.NET transfers the payroll Journal Voucher to the

General Ledger by many possibilities and in different formats.

Interfacing with Many Possibilities

NAS.NET can interface to Back Office for a certain payroll group, for a

certain period/month and certain pay run. Also a user can choose the content

outline that is to be exported for the required JV as per four different types of

data arrangements; in details, summarized, sorted by pay codes, or sorted by

cost centers.

EMAIL ALERTING

This module proved to be very beneficial, for it acts as an important tool

which facilitates and assures accuracy of management. Thus system users can

be alerted via email notifications that can be sent to their email addresses for

any desired reason such as; end of contract dates, end of probation period,

hiring, termination dates, expiration of certain documents, training events,

change of status, pay slips, leave balances, and more.

Subscribers’ Identification

NAS.NET alerting enables a user to setup various details, in order to

identify subscribers to whom alerts will be sent as a notification for any

required purpose. Thus a user can specify subscribers through writing a

significant query; which can target employees or a list of managers.

Scheduling Alerts

Users can setup alerts through creating alerts’ content as per the

intended business purpose. In addition, a user can specify the recurring

interval of checking for dates and times identified for various notifications, in

order to send alerts at the required timing. There are several schedule types

provided by the system as shown in the following screen shot.
