Codata Files

Codata Files is the solution to have Codata raw data at your disposal: data on Locations, data on Sites, data on Retailers and data on Service Providers.

With Codata Files, it is possible to:

• Integrate data on Locations, commercial Sites and Projects with

one’s own Geographic Information System (GIS)

• Make up mailing lists by post or email

• Combine one’s own information with Codata data that is perfectly

georeferenced

• Select, sort and analyse autonomously.

Codata Files offers the following data segments

A selection by country, among ten countries in Europe: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and/or Switzerland. It is also possible to group together all ten countries.

A selection by type of file:

• Locations• Commercial Sites• Retailers and Service Providers• or even the grouping of all types (Locations, Sites, Retailers and Service Providers).

Codata also presents files segmented by activity and by type of site as well as history over 10 years.

Information - Definitions

"Locations" can be "Retail Locations" (Shops, CHR, Services...) or not

(Buildings, Monuments, Town Hall...).

"Retail Locations" can be occupied or not.

If they are occupied, each retail location will be assigned one or

several activities by Codata.

If they aren’t occupied, they are classified in 3 subclasses, namely

"Empty", "Works" and "Warehouse".

Calculation of the occupancy and vacancy rates and of the

commercial density.

Occupancy rate is the ratio between the number of occupied

retail locations and the total number of retail locations.

Vacancy rate is the ratio between the number of "empty"

locations and the total number of retail locations.

The Commercial density corresponds to the number of Retail

Locations divided by the total number of Locations.
