Objective evidence Objective evidence is:
Qualitative or quantitative information, records or statement of fact pertaining to-- The characteristic of an item or service,- The existence and implementation of a
process element; Base on observation, measurement, or
test; Can be verified.
Class of data Data available to an assessor fall
broadly into three classes. Work product/item and their
characteristic; Testimony from performers of the process; Observations of the infrastructure
established for performance of the process.

Study of Documents Document review is essential as part of
conducting an assessment. Work products/items are key indicators of
process capability. In focus in document review is not on error
detection. You are seeking evidence that the document
is the result of a reasonable process. It address the key issues for the process under
assessment.
Classify work products Establish what generic work product
types the work products within the organization unit belong to. The classification can help with mapping
the product and processes in the organization onto the assessment model
Do not assume a simple identity to the defines work products, even to the names are the same.
