• ICES Quality Assurance Programme for assessments • Developed, tested and maintained by ICES • Only contains input information for stock assessments • Little effort data
Area raised information on catch numbers and weights at age -by quarter and stock area

• Used for control: location & speed of vessel • Of value to scientists and policy developers • Best resolution spatially and temporally
