Backed by newfound friends amongst the theater's crew, she manages to fulfill her dreams of being on stage herself. Things take a dramatic turn though when Ali's big voice makes her become the main attraction of the revue.

Will was chosen because he is a well established actor for playing funny roles meaning that he would add a natural element of comedy to the film, Brad was chosen because he is a famous actor drawing fans in to watch and all those who have heard of him. Jonah Hill is also known for being funny so he was an obvious choice to add the natural element of “funny” once again.
