WHAT IS DTD?“Dare to dream” is one of the biggest

national projects of AIESEC in Mainland of

China, aiming to help the left behind

adolescent to grow happily and healthily.

This project has been successfully held every

years ever since 2012 by AIESEC THU.

This time, in the summer of 2016, the DTD

will be held again with the theme of this

year : ”Room without Roof”.

Job Description

◆Teaching: You will have the chance to communicate with and to teach elementary and junior high school students in order to help them to develop their interests, hobbits or even their dreams.

◆Training: We will introduced you all the relevant knowledge that you need to know about this project and about China. You are also required to design what courses you will teach to students with your Chinese buddy.

◆Sharing: You can share your experience with other EPs and us before, during and after the project. Weekly meeting will be held to enable you to share and to review yourself.

◆Exploring: You will have the chance to visit a lot of the famous tourist attraction in Beijing, such as the Forbidden City (﴾largest palace in the world)﴿, the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, the Royal Summer Palace Garden, etc. Besides, since this project is host by AIESEC THU, you will also have the chance to visit Tsinghua University, one of the best university in China.

In this summer, you will

◆Receive professional training from us about teaching skills, first aid knowledge, presentation skills and so on

◆Be in deep touch with local people and students, learn and feel about the real China (﴾culture, language, etc)﴿

◆Work with international volunteers and enjoy cross-‐cultural friendship with Chinese youths

◆Identify your own dreams and life goals through dealing with left-‐behind youths here, so that you can chase your dreams and head for your future

Summer months in Hunan are long and hot with plenty of rain. Heavy rain are common throughout the summer, and it may occur on a sunny afternoon without any sign. Please pack your stuff according to this.

We work hard to provide high-‐quality exchange experiences and create a positive impact on our society. And of course, we are striving for the 17 SDGs by United Nation as well. We are still trying our best to achieve the significance of our products.

Beijing(﴾Peking)﴿, capital of the People's Republic of China (﴾PRC)﴿, is a center of politics, culture, transportation, tourism and international communication.

Beijing is not only the symbol of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, but also a fast-‐growing, dynamic metropolis attracting many foreign businesses and visitors while maintaining a firm grip on its rich cultural heritage.

Beijing is a monolithic showcase which gives foreign visitors a vivid view of China. It has rich tourism resources including more than 200 famous historical sites, such as the Forbidden City(﴾largest palace in the world)﴿, Temple of Heaven, the Royal Garden in the North Sea, the Royal Summer Palace Garden, etc. Anyway, you’ll never regret to explore this fantastic city.
