• SLAC team locates the COB etc.a. COB from JJ (James J. John, Russell), has 3 DPMs.b. SLAC will make sure the firmware is up to date when sending
it to Fermilab.c. Discussions are ongoing regarding previous safety review
findings on the COBd. DPM and RCEs will come along with COBe. Patrick has RTM at CERN and will send to Fermilab.f. An FPGA Carrier Board is needed for the timing system. One
may be available at CERN.
• SLAC team can send the COB etc. in the following weeks.• We are working on one ORC review for the whole DAQ system.

• Request remote login for setup, for Matt (mgraham), JJ (jrussell) and Sergio (username?)
• Matt has access to PAB server now

• Optical fiber connects (from) the WIB to RCEs. There is an IP on WIB and specific UDP ports on FEMB.
• IP addresses: SLAC assign them using DHCP but fix them in the dhcpd.conf. (Also, MAC addresses provided by JJ)
• A static IP address for the shelf manager that also needs to set up on the 1GbE network (may already works since we are using the same PCs).
• Get an IP to the shelf manager setup• Have access to the software• Use various commands to integrate the RCEs and COB• This is documented on a SLAC confluence page (but need a SLAC
computer account to access it)• Need to modify IP if taling to shelf manager

which uses the AIDA TLU - this unit is
specifically designed to make
coincidence triggers from scintillators,
and can connect directly to the timing

• a dump of the power draw. (This is with the RCE doing basically nothing,
so the draw will depend somewhat on load. 35Watts is the what the
shelf manager has allocated to each DPM (2 RCEs). The DTM has a
smaller FPGA so is less. )
