Thecommitteealsofocusesonlawreforminthefieldsoflawwithinitsscope,andsince1997hasmonitoredandofferedsuggestionsinconnectionwiththeproposedHagueConventiononInternationalJurisdiction,theEffectsofForeignjudgmentsinCivilandCommercialMattersandtheEuropeanUnionproposalforacommonEuropeancontractlaw.
