A Dancing Fairy Tale by Gabriele Langer (incl. 77 Schmidt Choreos) Once Upon A Dream there was a Downtown Girl named Diosa Marina who was wandering through the Lights Of London. Everywhere she saw Mean And Evil people in a real Night Fever with no Self Control that were totally Bamboozled. She thought Love Ain´t Here Anymore and that made her really sad and lonely. She was in a deep Basie Mood. Everywhere she saw Shadows And Light and as she kept on going she almost got Lost In The Darkness. Then she thought to herself: this is No Good at all, everyone has The Right To Love and I Believe In Love. So, she started day-dreaming about going to A Summer Place where there are No Walls, No Ceilings, No Floors. She imagined climbing Hushabye Mountain and Sitting On Top Of The World watching a Little Papillon flying by. She day- dreamed about Una Aventura Mas a big adventure in Mexico maybe meeting The Pirate or a Spanish Banderillero there and she would call him Mi Chico Latino and he would be Il Tangaccio for her. She thought maybe he teaches me My First Tango or dances a Tango Of Gold with me. Then she would find out whether it was only an Aventure Tango or would become Un Tango Del Cuore for her or if it would end as a Blue Tango. Still day-dreaming about Mexico, finally Diosa came to Tuxedo Junction. There she went into a dancing hall and saw Bad Leroy, a really nice guy she knew back from their School Days. He usually drove a Black Cadillac with a large Boogie Bumper. He was poor and wanted to Go Beyond his lonely Street Life. He had a good heart and always bought Blue Roses for his mom on mother‘s day. He enjoyed the Simple Little Things in life. Leroy had always liked Diosa but he had a big problem: he was shy. Leroy‘s best friend tried to help him and said to him: you Better Listen To Me Now or it will never happen that The Lady's In Love With You. Ask her to dance with you! But Leroy was Completely scared and couldn‘t say a word. Diosa pointed at him across the hall to indicate that she wanted to dance with him.

A Dancing Fairy Tale by Gabriele Langer (incl. 77 Schmidt Choreos) Once Upon A Dream there was a Downtown Girl named Diosa Marina who was

wandering through the Lights Of London. Everywhere she saw Mean And Evil

people in a real Night Fever with no Self Control that were totally Bamboozled.

She thought Love Ain´t Here Anymore and that made her really sad and lonely. She

was in a deep Basie Mood. Everywhere she saw Shadows And Light and as she

kept on going she almost got Lost In The Darkness.

Then she thought to herself: this is No Good at all, everyone has The Right To Love

and I Believe In Love.

So, she started day-dreaming about going to A Summer Place where there are No

Walls, No Ceilings, No Floors. She imagined climbing Hushabye Mountain and

Sitting On Top Of The World watching a Little Papillon flying by. She day-

dreamed about Una Aventura Mas – a big adventure in Mexico – maybe meeting

The Pirate or a Spanish Banderillero there and she would call him Mi Chico

Latino and he would be Il Tangaccio for her. She thought maybe he teaches me

My First Tango or dances a Tango Of Gold with me. Then she would find out

whether it was only an Aventure Tango or would become Un Tango Del Cuore for

her or if it would end as a Blue Tango.

Still day-dreaming about Mexico, finally Diosa came to Tuxedo Junction. There she

went into a dancing hall and saw Bad Leroy, a really nice guy she knew back from

their School Days.

He usually drove a Black Cadillac with a large Boogie Bumper. He was poor and

wanted to Go Beyond his lonely Street Life. He had a good heart and always bought

Blue Roses for his mom on mother‘s day. He enjoyed the Simple Little Things in

life. Leroy had always liked Diosa but he had a big problem: he was shy.

Leroy‘s best friend tried to help him and said to him: you Better Listen To Me Now

or it will never happen that The Lady's In Love With You. Ask her to dance with

you! But Leroy was Completely scared and couldn‘t say a word.

Diosa pointed at him across the hall to indicate that she wanted to dance with him.

Leroy said to himself: „now that The Finger Points To You you have to decide what

to do“ - but he still didn‘t do anything. So Diosa came to Leroy and asked him

Voulez Vous Cha Cha or do you want to Samba With Me?

He was rather afraid of dancing and said to himself If I Were A Painting I would not

have to make a move, but I‘m not and I like her - so how can I Biden’ My Time?

So he suggested to her: lets have Tea For Two or do you want El Choclo or do you

prefer Mambo Tequila for a drink? Or would you like Something to eat?

She answered: if It's All About Food I‘m not interested. So Shut Up And Dance.

Finally, Leroy found his courage and decided to dance with her. He asked himhelf:

should I do it the The Bolero Way or The Foxtrot Way? Then he said to her: I

cannot do Johnny’s Mambo but It’s Time To Jive so lets Jump Jive And Wail

and Shake Rattle and Roll.

So they danced jive and then the Downtown Triple Cha and finally they danced

really close together to Groovin music. And then - Boom! - they fell in Deep Love

with each other.

Leroy thought: Heureka! What an insight! Why Do Fools Fall in Love? - now I

know: Nothing Feels So Good as dancing with Diosa. Ain’t It Funny that I was so

afraid to dance? Things are so easy with her.

He told her of his love and said: I would be very sad When You’re Gone

Tomorrow, so please stay! When I hold you in my arms You Raise Me Up, so I will

Never Gonna Give You Up. I Need To Know do you love me too?

Diosa answered: Yes, I love you too, why don‘t you just Knock Me A Kiss and

Come Flying With me?

Both felt deep Abundant Joy and lived happily ever after.
