A focused, responsible and hardworking steel detailer experienced in structural,

architectural and sheet metal work, with good proficiency with Tekla and AutoCad

2D, and a reasonable knowledge of SolidWorks (professional context) and

AutoDesk Inventor (academic context).

Good communicator, sociable and capable of working in an organized and well

defined hierarchy in any environment, as well as individually - generally a fast

learner. With a track record of maintaining the service standard, whether in

accordance to British or European regulations, or/and in accordance to the

company own management systems. Able to work closely with other departments,

liaising with engineers, architects and clients, and also with in-house management,

Project modelling and detailing, assisted by TeklaStructures, on the welded

construction business, according to general and/or particular technical standards

(manufacturing methods, material science, etc). Generating all kinds of drawings

meeting clients, engineers and architects needs and requirements, always working

closely with them. Production of singles, assemblies, approval, erection, lists and

nc packages. Raising and manage RFIs, as well as variations on VO Schedule to

enable extras to be logged and charge for. Provide calculations of simple shear

connections using Tekla reports, avoiding the use of engineers when possible. Co-

ordinating with all operational management activities from the reception of the

job by the estimating team, to the delivering and erection of the steel on site.

Project preparation, assisted by AutoCad, SolidWorks and TeklaStructure.

Modeling welded construction, according to general or particular technical

standards, like manufacturing methods, material science, etc. Design and

preparation of sheet metal parts and assembly, always concerned in reducing its

production costs. Generate all the drawings as well as material and expedition lists.

Responsible for conveying technical data to customers and sub-contractors.

finished product. Preventing maintenance tasks as routine checks. Responsible for
