Dan has over 14 years of experience in the areas of leadership, management, human
resources, adult education, employee development, coaching, and project management
within multiple industries. He has a proven track record of increasing organizational
capabilities by creating, customizing, redesigning, implementing, facilitating, and measuring
global leadership development and talent management initiatives. Dan focuses individual,
team, and organizational energy on leveraging strengths to improve performance and deliver
results. Dan demonstrates a contagious enthusiasm for change, and an eye for finding and
promoting positive deviance.
Dan is an Operation Iraqi Freedom combat veteran with eight years of military service in the
United States Army as a Multi-Functional Logistics Officer gaining experience leading Soldiers
in garrison and combat.
Most recently at Robert W. Baird, as a Senior Talent Development Consultant with a focus on
Management Development, Dan was responsible for developing, implementing, and
monitoring Manager and Leadership Development strategies, practices and programs firm-
wide. Additionally, he has also been instrumental in the development of The Baird Difference,
Senior Leader Workshops, and the Leadership Competency Portfolio.
Dan is also a contributor to our community, as he served as a member of the Board of
Directors to Parents Plus, Inc., a state-wide nonprofit organization working to build strong
families that focus on education. And, serves on the advisory board for Make a Difference
Wisconsin, James Madison Academic Campus, to provide financial literacy programs and
resources that empower students to make sound financial decisions.
Dan’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice-Law from
California State University Sacramento and a Master of Arts degree in Human Relations-
Organizational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. He is also working to complete
his Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD.) in Organizational Psychology.
