In a rapidly changing world, people need innovative thinking and creative to be able to

shape their future. Thus, we need a new approach to education – one that prepares

students for an unknown future. Yet, to date there are only scattered attempts to

provide one.

We apply the Curriculum integrated with best pedagogical practices from around the

world to create a personalized, multi-age, skills-driven and strength-based system that

is supportively led by teachers as mentors.

NOC obtained for conversion of Tamil medium to CBSE School in Dalmiapuram.

GRIHA for Day Schools

‘GRIHA for Day Schools rating system has been jointly developed by GRIHA Council

and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). It is an assessment tool cum training

module for school students to evaluate the environmental performance of their

School against national – accepted benchmarks.

We are now going ahead and doing the registration with GRIHA for RGP School.

Dalmia School Meet, at DVM, was a grand five-day event organized with great zeal

and enthusiasm every year. It is often the most awaited event not only for the

students, but also for the every member of the DVM family.

Graced with the presence of Shriyut Raghu Hari Dalmia and top dignitaries from

different fields, Dalmia School Meet is an event worth watching.

Apart from the display of talents, one can also witness the inclination towards creating

a better society in the stage shows performed by students. Such initiatives by young

DVMites makes the whole event a cherished experience for school staff as well as all

team of School. The event also includes a devoted period of time for felicitating the

go-getters and best performers of Meet. The awards and prizes are more like a

motivating force for the students to shine.

This grand event is made grander by the efforts of the students belonging to different

academic locations like Out of the Box, Rhythm of the Soul, The Storytellers etc., and

their supportive parents.

In the Assembly Competition, the First Position was grabbed by DVM, Chirawa,

Second Position was bagged by DPS, Sutrapada & DVM Rajgangpur and the Third

Position was secured by DVM, Dalmiapuram.

The Rolling Trophy of the event DSM 2018 was awarded to DVM Chirawa.

The Second Position was secured by DHSS, Dalmiapuram.

We bring learning opportunities to children that is accessible, affordable yet

contemporary. We take immense pride in imparting an education that imbeds strong

Indian values. Our single minded mission is to enable students to develop into

respectful, socially conscious and productive global citizens and leaders in their

respective fields. Children in our schools will be provided with the best educational

opportunities. We ensure that no child is left behind in the learning process and we

endeavor to bring out the unique talent in every child.

Activities/Competitions @ Dalmia Vidya Mandirs’

We believe that education must help children to excel holistically across academics,

sports, arts and co-curricular pursuits. As platform various activities/competitions

were well thought-out at Dalmia Schools like:

- One Act Play, Solo Song & Group Song Competition, English Calligraphy, Healthy

cooking competition for Mothers’, English/Hindi Extempore, Greeting Card Making,

Rangoli Making, Creative Writing, English/Hindi Speech competition, Sprout and

Salad making, Cross word puzzle, Poster making/slogan writing, Earthen lamp

decoration/festoon making/Plastic flower making, Caption writing / logo making.

Achievements @ Dalmia Vidya Mandirs’

- DVM Chirawa Student Selected for National Level NCSC. Students also grabbed

Second place in district level Football tournament.

- Our DVM, Rajgangpur students made us proud in various activities of District level,

State and National level events:

- 1. Master Rajyawardhan Agrawal got first position in national level online cyber

security challenges. He clear all 40 Challenges and declared first in national

among 4000 students.

- 2. In District level Wushu championship our 2 students got gold medal, 1 Silver and

3 bronze medals.

- 3. Mining and environment department of Govt. of India organised quiz essay

writing and minerals recognition competition. 12 schools participated in which our

school got first rank and over all championship and got selected for state level.

Our both 2 student will represent Sundargarh district.

- 4. Six students have awarded by school bag for excellent performance in Discovery

channel and BYJU’s general science Olympiad and 2 students have qualified for

NASA event second level.

- 5. In Quiz competition organized by DAV group of schools our DVM, Rajgnagpur

four students have been selected for state level. .

- 6. Our students of DVM Rajgangpur, participated and made us proud to be winner

in National Level Dance and musical events where students from 13 other states

participated (Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh,

West Bengal, Odisha etc), which was organized at Bhubneswar and our students

got First Position in group dance, Second Position in solo dance classical and semi

classical both, First position in duet dance drama dance.

- 10 students from DVM, Dalmiapuram participated in 12th Tamil Nadu State Level

Open Karate Tournament which was held in Tanjore on 2nd December 2018. In

that 9 students stood I, II & III place, V.Vedhasarojini of VI std. received I

position in state level.

- DPS, Sutrapada won first position at district level in Quiz competition -

‘Bharat Ka Janno’ organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad. In Khel Mahakumbh

Badminton (U 17), Jaydeep, Mitesh & Krunal, represented @ State Level.

- DHSS, Dalmiapuram Student M. Donald finished 4th in the National athletic

competition & selected for Knell India Team in the event Triple Jump.

- M. Subash of grade 10 from DVM Dalmiapuram receiving Rajyapuraskar award

(Governor’s Award) at Mannachanallur Tiruchirrapali along with Guide Instructor

Mrs. A. Selvi.

Celebrations @ Dalmia Vidya Mandirs’

At DVM, we believe that celebrating the different culture is celebrating India’s

diversity. We celebrate every highlighting days with great zeal like:

Senior Citizen Day, Samvidhan Divas (National Constitution Day), World Postal Day,

Girl Child Day, World Food Day, Worlds Saving Day, Grandparents Day, Diwali,

Christmas.

Shriyut Raghu Hari Dalmia Ji visited DVM, Dalmiapuram & Thaikesar Alai, Mannaparai

- Tamil Nadu for motivational interaction with students and staff members of the

school which boost up the moral of the students.
