Fossil Fuels are natural resources found under the ocean sea.
They are made of dead organisms that have decomposed over time.
Resources made from fossil fuels include oil, petroleum, and gas.
What Products are made from Fossil Fuels?
Some of the known items include plastics, like golf balls, tennis racquets, and Legos.
Some other products that most people don’t know that are made from fossil fuels include car tires, bubble gum, CD’s and DVD’s, and deodorant.
So What?
Fossil Fuels when burned create greenhouse gasses some of the harmful elements include Mercury and Vanadium.
If oil (a form of a fossil fuel) is spilled in the ocean it is very dangerous to aquatic life.
Can lead to global warming
Alternatives to Fossil Fuels
We could use different forms of electricity like wind and solar power.
Offering higher MPG cars and cars that run on electricity.
They are even making a car that is fueled by water.
