THE INSTITUTE’S ROLE We provide the government advise on dairy policy, and work side by side with the
farmer unions andprocessors, with training and funding agencies, and other stakeholders in the dairy sector.
We contribute to decision-making through the development of data. In conjunction with farmer unions and public agencies, we conduct development
projects across the territory. We work on the preservation of natural resources and the environment, through
projects geared to improving dairy farm management. We articulate and promote partnerships with a focus on R&D&I. We develop educational activities in the sector, where all the stakeholders in the dairy
sector have a chance to update and exchange their knowledge. We represent the national dairy industry before the main dairy knowledge networks
