One of the key activities of DDP in Indonesia is focused on the improvement
of milk quality. This is done by training farmers and the introduction of cooled
milk collection points (MCPs). Since September 2015 Frisian Flag Indonesia and
partners have introduced 7 automated MCPs in in West Java at dairy cooperative
KPBS Pangalengan. The programme has proven successful: within three months’
time milk quality improved and the average farmers’ income increased by 10%.
