Daily Sketches 2.8Nathaniel Miller

Sketch 1 My first sketch I worked on my 3D drawing skills. It was a more simple object to draw as to appear 3D but I felt it was a good step in setting a real object in front of myself and sketching it.

Sketch 2 In this sketch I worked on drawing a baseball player in fielding position. It was difficult for me to make his body positioning to look natural. I also had difficulty with drawing his face. I have always had difficulty with faces, but I believe I was more successful with drawing the uniform and accessories.

Sketch 3In this sketch I attempted to show a football player reaching over the goal line. I worked on drawing the helmet and arms as realistic as possible.

Sketch 4In this sketch I drew the New England Patriots logo. In this sketch I worked with using layers, putting the Patriots face logo in front of the team name text.

Sketch 5In this sketch I again drew a football player, but this time around I was better able to draw the helmet and arms.

Sketch 6In this sketch I drew the shoes socks and shins of a basketball player, this sketch I used my shoes as a model and worked with depth to show that they were 3D shoes with a person wearing them as a opposed to just 2d shoes from a side point of view.

Sketch 7In this sketch I began drawing an image of the game Jenga, however I then turned the image into a reflection with different areas shaded on each side. This was one of the first times in a while that I had attempted to reflect a sketch

Sketch 8In this sketch I worked on drawing the Lombardi Trophy is 3D, I had a hard to finding the right angles for the football to make it look realistic.
