Originally designed for missing older adults diagnosed with dementia, Silver Alerts function similarlyto Amber Alerts, with public notices issued through highway signs, news broadcasts, phone messages, and social media. In order to participate in float building, you must complete a non-school sponsored event form and have it signed by your parent!Look for a class council advisor or Mrs. Pattisall-Williams for a form!

Swim & Dive preseason workouts will begin on October 5 from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at theweight room in the back of Holliday. All participants must have completed their Dragonfly registration. See Coach Shelow if you haveany questions.

Then join us on Wednesday,September 29th as we connect experiences, personal interests, and personality to career options through CareerExploration Testing. We will even spend some time going through the results of your test. The In-person session beginsat 3:00 pm and the virtual session begins at 4:00 pm. School officials will follow WCPSS Health Guidelines to determine if a student is required to isolate. If you are not feeling well, you

are required to stay home and notify [email protected] of your absence. During a required isolation, your absences willbe recorded as excused absences for illness. If you are required to isolate, below are the measures in place that will support you asyou continue your coursework:

○ You can connect with your counselor for support by setting up a meeting with them here.○ You should complete the coursework provided for you by your teachers in their Google Classroom or Canvas site.○ You can attend an office hour with your teacher, which is offered once per week:

■ Some teachers will offer this office hour during their regularly scheduled weekly office hours by hosting aGoogle Meet;

■ Other teachers may choose to schedule this individually with you. Please reach out to your teacher toschedule this time.
