Affirmative Prayer Wednesday, April 6, 2005

I PRAY AFFIRMATIVELY WITH AN EXPECTATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF UNLIMITED

BLESSINGS.

Affirmative prayers are powerful statements of spiritual truth. They are a faith-filled acceptance of my good

even before it is evident to me.

I pray affirmatively with an expectation of unlimited blessings:

God is the all-knowing, guiding presence that heals me and provides for me.

I am a child of God, receptive to good in every area of my life.

I am aglow with healing that transforms my mind and body.

God is the source of all my blessings. I am prospered.

I thank God for blessings that pour forth abundantly in my life.

Guidance for Daily Affirmative Prayer

First Thoughts of the Day

Nutritionists have long said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast gets your body ready for the day and gives it energy. Perhaps more important than even breakfast, are the first few thoughts of the day -- those thoughts we think when we are first coming out of sleep.

Our first thoughts really frame the mind and feeling tone from which we will spend our day. Wherever you are right now, let your day begin anew. Feed your mind and open your heart to thoughts of wonderful gratitude and deep appreciation for the life you are living, for the opportunity to be in this life and for the people you love. Send a thought of gratitude as a light shining on your path and then bring into mind whatever it is you would like to be, do or give and simply say, "Thank You."

Daily Practice

Someone asked me once, "Don’t you get tired of doing those Miracle Minutes -- tired of having to think up something every single day?"

I said, "You know, long before I did Miracle Minutes for others I made it my fundamental daily practice to do a Miracle Minute for myself -- to pause, reflect, consider and to remember how good this life is.

I would consider a quote, idea or a story to focus on that inspired and uplifted my day.

I knew that if I didn’t implement this practice, that my mind would succumb to the broadcast of ordinary thinking or the broadcast of bad news and worse news yet."

There is great power in a daily practice that brings us to a higher level of thinking and being.

A good daily practice will change the trajectory of our day, creating powerful results in our relationships, our work and our lives.

Act in Faith – Daily Affirmative Prayer

Let’s begin today in faith. Imagine that the universe has your day perfectly designed right now.

Imagine that in each moment exactly what you need to know, exactly what you need for inspiration, exactly what you need for the answers to everything you’re longing for and searching for are right where you are.

There will be people that will show up today, books that will jump off the shelves with answers, if you look at them. Everything single thing you need is right where you are. Start by saying, “Thank you.”

With that simple statement you are acknowledging that all your needs are already met.

There is only one Life. It is God's Life, Full, Perfect, Complete. It is the Ground of AllBeing, holding all of life within Itself. It runs in and through all things, as all things. Thereis nowhere where It is not. This is the Infinity of Life, knowing no bounds. It is theultimate Freedom, Love and Good of Life. It is everywhere present as Eternity Itself, asthe Peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am one with this boundless Awareness of Beingness Itself. It runs in and through meas who and what I am. There is no separation, only one seamless flow if Life Force, GodPresence in my life and through all life.

I accept this Truth as all that I am. I accept it into my conscious mind and unconsciousmind. Knowing that all is well, I accept for myself a full healing and a revelation ofwholeness and peace in my relationship with money as it manifests in my life. I acceptfull love and peace deeply into my subconscious, penetrating through and into my fulland entire money lineage and heritage, through all of my family money patterninheritance, through to my grandparents, and their parents, continuing on, through andthrough. Love and more love is mine now for complete liberation in my own heart, bodyand mind of any and all limiting beliefs I have ever had or inherited, know or unknown,

I accept Good into my money life and my whole life, fully, r ight here and now. I amcourageous. I am dignified. I am empowered. I am living my life in harmony with Divinity.I am financially abundant and secure. I make money easily and effortlessly. Moneycomes to me naturally and I freely let it in with joy, acceptance and gratitude. I amsupported by Divinity. And I let Divinity support me with love and kindness. I surrenderall of my actions into the heart of Divinity, knowing that it is Divinity that acts throughme. I say yes!

In gratitude, I accept this Good and the shift of consciousness that is embodying in menow for the complete and full manifestation of this Word and its Good.

I let it be so.

And so it is.

That power for good dwells within me. That infinite source of supply is right where Iam. It is a magnificent power; it is glorious love and perfect peace. It is all righthere, right where I am. I am a creative expression of Spirit, unlimited in my ability toexpress that perfection and love that is within me. There is a part of me that hasnever been harmed and cannot be altered by external circumstances. Spirit is thelight within me that illumines my path and makes perfect my way. It breathes me, itexpresses itself through me in greater and greater ways.

As I speak my word in first person, I am speaking for everyone reading this prayer. Iclaim an opening to recognize that Spirit is my source and supply. I claim anopening to step into my awareness of the power and presence of Spirit that dwellswithin me. I claim an expansion to open to greater possibilities than have ever gonebefore. I open the door to divine wisdom and divine love moving through my life andmaking perfect my way. I claim a release of anything that blocks my perfection fromrevealing itself to me. And I claim that love guides and directs me in all actions. Ideclare that the never ending supply of love and peace and power within meexpresses itself each day. I can relax and open to my good.

I am grateful for the realization of Spirit’s presence in my life.

Giving great thanks for this shift in thinking to recognize the greater good in my lifeand in the lives of everyone listening, I release my word now into the law of mind and Ilet it be and so it is.

Affirmative Prayer for Good Self-Care

There is One Loving Presence that is the Source of all of Life. Lifeoriginates from Love and Life is sustained by Love. This Love is theabsolute power of the Divine and it is continuously creating Life. Its onlyintention is to express Life more freely through all that is. This Love,this Presence, this Power is infinite-that is without beginning andwithout end, and eternal-was never born and shall never die. It includesall that is formed and all that is unformed.

It includes me. I am one with the absolute Love of the Divine Presence.It is my source and my nourishment. It is continuously creating throughme.

So, I am right now affirming that I cooperate with this intentionalcreation of Life through me. I open my heart to receive absolute Love.And as I do, I am called to and drawn to activities that promote my well-being. I become a master of self-care. And as I do, I am serving all thatI come into contact with. When I am kind to myself, I am easily kind toothers. When I am patient with myself, I am easily patient with others.When I am well, I can support the wellness of others. I care for my body,mind and spirit naturally and easily. I gladly accept responsibility for myown well-being. I am delighted to practice good self care.

There is One Power and Presence in the universe, One Spirit, One Creative

Source, One Holy, Divine Center of all that is. It's nature is wholeness, peace

integrity, oneness. It is never divided against Itself, but always in harmony

with It's own nature. And there is nothing outside of It.

It encompasses all that exists and that includes all people and all nations of

the world, east and west, north and south, and everything in between. In

recognizing this, I recognize that there is inherent peace and harmony in,

through, and between all nations, each one expressing its unique flavor of the

Divine. There is wholeness, peace, perfection, and harmony at the heart of

Ukraine and at the heart of Russia. This divine perfection is naturally present

in every citizen and in every leader of these countries, and in all of those who

look on to the interplay between these nations.

I call upon this Divine Presence in all to override fear and tension between

Ukraine and Russia and to guide these two nations and all of their concerned

neighbors and world citizens to harmonious relations and peaceful

interactions. I know that a higher good is bubbling to the surface of expression

in the current situation in Ukraine and that it is guided by the Divine Creative

Source. I claim peace, harmony and well-being for all of the people of Ukraine

and a greater opportunity than ever before for each of them to express their

divine nature. I claim for each of them a release of fear and a deep knowing of

the truth. I claim for all Ukrainians a greater sense of confidence in knowing

who they are and in expressing their divine nature, as individuals and as a

nation. Peace, joy, and a deep sense of well-being prevails in Ukraine.

I am grateful for this shift in consciousness that is taking place for Ukraine,

for her neighbors, and for all the world, as we see Ukraine emerge more free

and powerful in her divine expression, more confident in who she is, and more

willing than ever to play her divine part in the world.

With a deep sense of conviction in knowing the truth, I release this word to

the Divine presence which has already said yes and has already made it so.

And so it is.

Affirmative Prayer for Vitality

There is one Power, one loving Energy. This Power and Energy flowsthrough everything. It is the Power and Energy of the living Spirit. It isgenerous and abundant. It is infinite and eternal. It reaches into all oflife and gives Itself fully to all of life. Vitality is Its very nature.

I am a creation of this one Power and I am made from this one Energy.The Power and Energy of the living Spirit reach into every part of me.

I affirm that the Power and Energy of the one living Spirit is fully aliveand active in me. I am filled with vitality as my nature is the same asSpirit's nature. I am blessed with overflowing abundance of positive,constructive, loving energy. I am enlivened by the flow of the Spiritthrough me and It leads me to great and wonderful experiences. I drinkit in and savor all that comes to me and through me. I am fully alive inSpirit. Vitality is my natural state and I open to receive it. I allow vitalityto be fully expressed through me.

I am grateful as I celebrate this as my personal truth. I give thanks forthe revealing of this truth and the manifestation of its highest intentionin my experience.

I release this Word now, trusting Spirit to bring it forth.

Personal Affirmative Prayer

This is an example of a prayer that I say daily as I drive to work. Each person will have a unique prayer

and all that I wanted to share is this format that I use which is inspired by Dr. Catherine Ponder.

Part Sample Part of Affirmative Prayer

1 I recognize the power that emanates throughout the world and is. I know this power is in me and I am a part of it.

Recognize God

2 Through this power, my indwelling Christ, expressed through my spoken word, I give praise and thanks for God’s many blessings in my life.

Start with a general statement of gratitude

3 I give praise and thanks that I am receiving. I am receiving now. I am receiving all the wealth, joy, beauty and love that this universe has for me now.

3 I AMs with affirmative gratitude

4 I give thanks for the love that I feel and give to Kevin, Darren, Zha-zha, Zoe and Zacky, Mike, my extended family and my good friends and for the love that they feel and give to me. I give thanks that we are all warm, clean, well-fed, cared for, protected and loved.

Gratitude for your most important people and for everyone’s continued care

and well-being.

5 I give thanks for this day, for every rich blessing, for my job at NDOT and that I am an excellent NDOT employee. I give thanks that my work is accurate, complete and timely. I give thanks that I have plenty of money to meet all my financial obligations with more to spare and share.

Gratitude for your source of supply, for doing well to continue your source of

supply and for being a good steward of it.

6 Thank you for helping me to stay focused in the now and/or on all my tasks before me.

Affirmative statement for the day – good place to edit and speak about gratitude for a

particular circumstance.

7 Jesus, thank you for your teachings and gifts to humanity. Thank you for helping me to follow your teachings throughout the day. I love you, Jesus and in your name I pray, amen.

Close with love and gratitude.

This is committed to memory yet no 2 daily prayers are ever the same. I even sang it a few times when I

was feeling particularly spunky, but for me and my communication with God – probably less is more

regarding my singing voice!

I started this over 10 years ago and it started out very small – with parts 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7, all from Dr.

Ponder. I added parts 4 and 5 for gratitude of the most important aspects of my life every day.
