DIRECTIONS TO THE SHOW SITE

From Route 1 Southbound - Take Route 1 Exit. Exit onto Main Street and go 1/4 mile to the trafficlight onto Route 514 East (Woodbridge Avenue). Turn right at the Sheraton Hotel into RaritanCenter. Follow the signs to the Expo Center.

From Route 1 Northbound - After crossing the Raritan River Bridge, get into the right lane. Afterpassing "Open Round Honda" take the third right hand exit onto Route 514 East (WoodbridgeAvenue). Follow Woodbridge Avenue for 3 to 4 miles. Make a right at the Sheraton Hotel intoRaritan Center. Follow the signs to the Expo Center.

From Route I-287 South - Follow Route I-287 South to the Bonhamtown ONLY, Route 514 WestExit. (This exit is just after the NJ Turnpike Exit). Follow Route 514 West to the first exit rampmarked Raritan Center. Follow the signs to the Expo Center.

From the NJ Turnpike - Follow the NJ Turnpike to Exit 10. Pay the toll, to the right, follow Route514 West to Raritan Center. Take the first exit marked Raritan Center and follow the signs tothe Expo Center.

From the Garden State Parkway Southbound - Follow the Parkway to Exit 129. Take RouteI-287 North to Route 514 West to the first exit marked Raritan Center and follow the signs tothe Expo Center.

Owner-Handled SeriesDate of Show - March 20 & 21, 2020

The AKC Owner/Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners thatare not professional handlers. This series of special competitions will be offered at dog shows across thecountry.

All dogs that are owner/handled and are not owned or exhibited by professional handlers' meet the requirementsfor this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner/Handler eligible the time of entry using thecheck box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the steward's book and the catalog.Dogs must be handled throughout the competition by an eligible owner. Professional handlers maynot exhibit the dog in this competition.

The Owner Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are eligible to compete in the Bestof Breed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes.

! If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition eligible, it will automatically be OwnerHandled Best of Breed/Variety and be eligible to compete in both the regular as well as the Owner-Handler Group.

! If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition ineligible and the Best of OppositeSex to Best of Breed/Variety will compete against the eligible undefeated exhibits of the owner sexto determine Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety.

! If the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety are both ineligible and SelectDog and Select Bitch are both eligible, the judge is to choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from theSelects and eligible Winners Dog or Winners Bitch.

! If one of the Selects is eligible, excuse all dogs of the same sex and then choose Best Owner-Handledexhibit from the remaining dogs of the opposite sex including the eligible Winners.

! If Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed, Select Dog & Select Bitch are ineligible,the judge may choose any eligible dog remaining in the ring including Winners Dog or Winners Bitchas Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety.

*Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professionalhandlers' organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves ashandling dogs for pay or received payment for handling a dog.

The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is Limited to a period of 90 days from thedate of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list, if the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided,then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., agedivision, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered doghas been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after thedate of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recordedin his name. NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, butif a dog has been processed, no refund will be made.

CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING.DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further

judging will be excused.JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible

for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a publicaddress system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought intothe ring when required.

ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or whenin the exercising ring.

CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money mustbe made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once.The Superintendent and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging ofthe breed is over.

THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs andexhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortuneto either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show.

Effective May 1, 2006, an administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelledprior to the closing of entries.Effective January 1, 2009 - Refund and Cash award checks are void after 180 days and will NOT be re-issued.
