1. PUBLISHABLE SUMMARY

The team of Work Package 7 has developed the HARMONY corporate website and a first release of a dedicated internal website/repository that is password protected (the Community Platform), to optimize the flow and exchange of knowledge, information, and guidance to internal audiences, meaning HARMONY Partners and in the future HARMONY Associated Members. The HARMONY corporate website plays a central role in the dissemination activities. It provides a coherent and balanced presentation of information and news about the overall objectives and of relevant aspects of the HARMONY Alliance Work Packages, HM Disease Groups, as well as future bench-to-bedside projects. The HARMONY Community Platform is an important internal communication instrument, it will, in addition, provide the technology and structure to engage, align and nurture collaboration. A social media footprint will be created via Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

2. INTRODUCTION After the kick start of HARMONY Alliance, Synapse (partner num. 44) set-up and offered the use of Microsoft SharePoint which is a documents repository that provides an intuitive and easy user interphase. In parallel, the HARMONY Alliance website (www.harmony-alliance.eu) was developed and made operational by EHA (partner 5) in close cooperation with WP7 team. As the project started to evolve, a detailed virtual ‘organization’ was taken into consideration to provide a different online medium to meet challenges such as the management of the growing number of Partners and Associated Members. Work Package 7 advised to focus on establishing a strong and easy to use website, offering today’s technology to share knowledge and to interact on personal and group levels. After carefully studying the possibilities during the preparation of the dedicated website, the decision was made to make use of ready-to-use platform technology to be customized according to the needs of HARMONY. The repository was renamed into the HARMONY Community Platform to function as a dedicated online place to work together with open folders and closed groups, where confidential and non-confidential documents and images are gathered. The Community Platform also functions as an information management tool for internal communications, as well as a source of content for external communications.

3. WEBSITE, COMMUNITY PLATFORM FEATURES AND SOCIAL MEDIA

3.1. The HARMONY Corporate Website: www.harmony-alliance.eu

3.1.1 Objectives of the Corporate Website:

Function as the main online tool to communicate about the goals, objectives, mission, vision, projects, Partners, Associated Members, Alliance activities, news and results;

Function as a portal for dissemination activities; Connect, inspire, inform, and engage.

3.1.2 Users i.e. target audience of the Corporate Website:

Key stakeholders in the clinical, academic, patient advocacy, health technology assessment, regulatory, economical, ethical, and pharmaceutical fields;

Health-interested public.

3.1.3 Important elements for design and Look & Feel in keywords:

100% in line with the new Harmony Alliance house style; Modern, yet clear and simple; Intuitive navigation and structured positioning of the features as mentioned below; Visual hierarchy (we aim to use powerful and attractive images, for our spotlight articles – overall

a lot of attention will be paid to the use of image, an image concept and hierarchy still has to be developed);

Expressing the Harmony Alliance in keywords which is: Specialized & Focused | High Quality & Knowledgeable | Human & Personal | Health & Care | Science & Industry | Bringing together & Connect & Align.

3.1.4 Functionalities and characteristics of the Corporate Website

Main Navigation: Vision, Alliance, Partners, Hematologic Malignancies (hidden in 2017), Work Packages, Projects (hidden), Publications (Hidden), News, Meetings, Contact, Search, Login, Subscribe;

Sub navigation: Patients, Innovation, Big Data;

Homepage: provides full name, logo, smart navigation, a brief intro, links and/or sub navigation

to specific editorial content, appealing news items, and highlighted meetings;

Spotlighting visions: are positioned at the homepage and will capture visions (articles/quotes),

interviews etc. Spotlights will always be illustrated with a powerful image and preferably linked to a person. Spotlights will also appear in the “news” page;

Footer: will provide full name, funding info, logo funders, icons social media accounts, contact

3.2. The HARMONY Community Platform: https://internal.harmony-alliance.eu/ 3.2.1 Objectives of the Community Platform:

Offer an interactive, online, secure platform to bring together and to connect users; Provide an engaging online environment to collaborate in multiple projects and activities, in

different teams; Optimize the flow and exchange of knowledge; Ultimately reduce the amount of single emails and mailings.

3.2.2 Users of the Community Platform:

Official HARMONY Partners Official Associated Members

Each new user of the Community Platform is screened before given access to the Community Platform by means of a role panel. The first release of the Community Platform covers up to 200 contacts. Appointed admins are responsible for community and content management. Each user is registered by means of a personal profile and can post items which vary from regular documents to video’s and images.

3.2.3 Functionalities and characteristics of the Community Platform The HARMONY Community Platform is based on the expert platform technology and includes the following functionalities:

A landing page which provides a quick overview and quick access to the most relevant information on the platform. Automated news streams are tailored to our Community users’ interests (trending topics etc.);

A ‘vault’ offering a resources library; Shared workspaces which are called Groups; A community page showing members/users and organizations; An internal messaging system A shared calendar where official project meetings, congresses and conferences shall be

announced.

The Vault: All users of the Community Platform have access to the vault, which includes resources like

images, videos, documents, best practices, news, and other links; All information is structured in topics, subtopics, folders, and subfolders; The information can be ranked by the preference of the user.

Closed Groups: Most of the collaboration will take place within Closed Groups available for the 8 Work Packages,

for the 7 HM Diseases and for the for the pilot project and future Bench-to-Bedside/pilot projects; The closed Groups have designated members which are appointed by the Group owner i.e. Work

Packages Leads and HM KOLs; Each closed Group includes a description, feed of recent activities, list of Group users, calendar

option with tasks, notifications, and a list of files.
