PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT

This notice is to advise responsible and trustee agencies as well as in-terested parties and those potentially affected by the project that the

City of Lancaster has prepared an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative De-claration (IS/MND) for the project identified below (TTM No. 71210/CUP

No. 15-19). The City has determined that the project will not result insignificant environmental impacts with the implementation of the identi-

fied mitigation measures.

Project Description: The proposed project consists of a tentative tractmap with an associated conditional use permit to allow for a total of

161 single family residential lots with 8 common open space lots/parksin the R-10,000 zone (TTM No. 71210/CUP No. 15-19). The project siteis located on approximately 40.4 gross acres on the east side of 55th

Street West between Avenue K and Avenue K-8 in the City of Lan-caster (Assessor’s Parcel Numbers [APNs] 3204-010-054, -055, -062, -063; 3204-011-033, -034, -059). Mitigation measures have been identi-

fied for air quality, biological resources, cultural resources,geology/soils, and traffic.
