Project outline

Digital School is a initiative integrated on the PRAI-Alentejo, Innovative Strategies and Actions program, approved by the EC on December 02;

DREAlentejo is a Department from the Ministry of the Education responsible for co-ordination on educational politics in 47 local administrative units with 27.323.70Km2 and a 776.585 inhabitants in the south of Portugal.

Objectifs

To promote the innovation and the use of the ICT by schools of Alentejo, integrating all the functionalities of the existing software on the market

To promote the willing, the work and the synergies of the schools of our Region by: giving them the tools they need; hearing them and reflecting together.

Objectifs

To promote the interchange of experiences of all kind between schools, students and teachers of our region and with those of other regions and countries;

• The system is based on the use of a magnetic card, allowing: Control IN and Out of every person that works and

visits the school; The end of the money inside the school; The reservation of the meals for the following days; Real-time stock management of stocks either of the

refectory, or the bar, or the stationery; Each student (or parent), teacher or school worker

has a private access to its own current account; The daily bureaucratic work of filling maps, and

control of money and papers ends, considering that all is done by the software.
