Dear Mr D Harker, Re Emirates Cable Car contract: Discrimination against nationalities I believe your organisation receives sponsorship form Emirates airline. You may have seen the news reports, of the sponsorship deal for the Cable car across the River Thames operated by Transport for London and DLRL, which excludes the involvement of any Israeli business, company or individual in the operation of the cable car. I am writing to you, to inquire whether your sponsorship contract with Emirates contains similar clauses to exclude “conflicting persons” (the definition means Israeli companies and businesses), however expressed, and if so whether you are comfortable with such an exclusion. In light of what has now been revealed, if your contract does contain such terms, will you now seek to renegotiate it? Yours sincerely,
