THE NORTH BREVARD SENIOR CENTER
NEEDS A FEW GOOD MEN & WOMEN...
The NBSC needs volunteers to help us keep our activities running smoothly. Please consider volunteering a few hours a week so we can continue to make the Center a great place to be. Specifically, we ask your help in the following areas and, if you are interested, please contact our Operations Manager Michelle (321-268-2333). BINGOBINGO -- We need floor workers to sell paper specials between the hours of 10AM & 2 PM each Thursday. Must be a NBSC member. RECEPTIONRECEPTION – We have a couple of openings for half-day duty as a receptionist in our Lobby. Duties include greeting everyone, answering phones, taking messages. Must be a NBSC member. SETSET--UP CREWUP CREW – Men needed to set up tables & chairs for Bingo each Thursday and for special events and rentals as they occur. NBSC membership is not a requirement. ______________________________________________________________________________ Two senior ladies, Connie & Evelyn, were sitting on a park bench outside the local town hall where a flower show was in progress. The petite one, Connie, leaned over and said, "Life is so boring. We never have any fun anymore. For $10 I'd take my clothes off and streak through that stupid, boring flower show!" "You're on!" said Evelyn, holding up a $10 bill. So Connie slowly fumbled her way out of her clothes. She grabbed a dried flower from a nearby display and held it between her teeth. Then, completely naked, streaked (as fast as she could through the front door of the flower show. Waiting outside, Evelyn soon heard a huge commotion inside the hall, followed by loud applause and shrill whistling. Finally, the smiling Connie came through the exit door surrounded by a cheering, clapping crowd. "What happened?" asked Evelyn. Smiling broadly, Connie replied, "I won $1,000 as 1st prize for 'Best Dried Arrangement'!"
