Aaron Czerny is an inter/trans-disciplinary artist engaged in examining, mapping, intuiting and navigating the inherent contradictions imbedded within the constructs and concepts of wildness and domestication.

His most recent bodies of work, large scale sculptural installations and participatory performance, focus on themes of communication, migration, translation and the positioning of art and the artist’s role in and beyond what is being termed the Anthropocene; in order to interpret, transgress and establish boundaries amongst the rapidly shifting landscapes of our contemporary existences.

Czerny’s utilization of object and form, sound and video, colour and site create a living anthropological collage woven with mysticism, history, and a desire for balance. There exists in his work a place where answers can be felt and new inquiries dreamed. He is an ambassador of the between, illuminating the vulnerabilities of perceptions.
