1. Does not provide best-in-class Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)SNR is directly proportional to TX voltage

Synaptics S320x can only provide 3.3 V TX drive inside the chip

2. Cannot support wet-finger tracking without false touchesWaterproofing is required for functionality in the presence of condensation, sweat, or rain

Synaptics S320x cannot do self + mutual capacitance sensing which is required for true waterproofing

3. Low performance CPU, less Flash and RAM; limits data processing within the touch controllerTouch data processing needs to be done in the host processor for optimum performance
