PEER TUTORING

CSF Peer Tutoring– FREE

CSF Peer Tutoring was created to provide students an opportunity to complete

assignments and get help with academic school work in collaboration with the Cypress

chapter of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF). Students may come on a drop-in,

first-come, first-served basis OR complete the online form request and arrangements will

be made to have a qualified peer tutor assigned to you in advance. Students, please use

your school email when completing the online form.

Location: Library Reference Room

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:45 to 3:45.

One-on-One Peer Tutoring– FEE–BASED

Cypress High School offers this service as a courtesy to families of students that are in

need of a one-on-one tutor. One-on-one peer tutors apply to be on an eligibility list and are

selected based on advanced coursework. Peer tutors are not specifically trained and fees

are negotiated between the parent/guardian and the student tutor. One-on-one peer/student

tutors can be requested through the Counseling Office. To be matched with a peer tutor,

please complete the Tutorial Request Form (green) found in the Counseling office. If

available, students will be matched with a peer tutor based on subject area. However, there

is no guarantee that a student can be assigned and assist in the requested subject area.
