Cyber Security Certificate IV in Cyber Security (22334VIC) This qualification provides you with the technical skills and knowledge to enable you to monitor the risk of cyber security attacks, implement appropriate software, use a range of tools and procedures to mitigate cyber security threats, protect an organisation from insider security breaches, develop systems to minimise network vulnerabilities and risks. Course duration This qualification can be completed in one year (2 semesters - approx. 18 hours per week) full-time or part-time equivalent. It is expected that you will spend approximately the same number of hours in private study to practise skills and apply new knowledge. Entry requirements There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, it is assumed that you have: completed the Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology (ICT30115) or other relevant qualification, or units equivalent to the core of the certificate III; or demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments using basic information technologies. This experience should be relevant to your chosen pathway. Job opportunities As a graduate of the course you will be able to seek employment as a junior cyber security analyst in a range of commercial enterprises/organisation and government bodies. This qualification provides you with the technical
