We are thrilled to announce our accreditation for ISO14001:2015!
Carbon emissions have been increasing, and there have been growing concerns over the e�ects of pollution caused by shipping activities on the marine environment. With the increased trade activities and cargo being shipped around the world, initiatives and control measures have been introduced by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to mitigate the adverse impact of shipping activities to the environment.
Green Shipping is an increasingly important and strategic topic for the shipping industry. With leading logistics players embarking on their green initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint, the sustainability e�orts of companies have become important evaluation criteria for vendor selection.
As a key global player in the LCL market, CWT Globelink also strives to play our part to contribute to the green initiatives and to incorporate sustainability into our business strategies.

To obtain the ISO 14001:2015 certi�cation, we have set up an e�ective Environmental Management System where we integrate the consideration of environmental concerns into the business’ decisions and activities. This system requires us to implement pollution prevention and best environmental practices in all we do, continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our operations, and contributing to the environmental pillar of sustainability at the same time.
There are numerous bene�ts for the organisation, both internal and external.
Some key bene�ts:
Besides the newly accredited ISO14001:2015, we are also a member of Clean Cargo (a BSR Collaboration) since 2019.
Clean Cargo is founded in 2002 and comprises of key players in the shipping industry who are dedicated to reduce the environmental impacts of cargo shipped globally. Clean Cargo has a methodology for carbon dioxide emissions calculations and it has become the global standard in the shipping industry.
As a LCL provider, it enables us to review and compare carriers’ environmental performance and allows more informed decisions on the choice of carriers as part of our sustainability strategies.
Globelink Group is highly committed to incorporate sustainability into our business strategies and we will continue to explore and embark on green initiatives.
Please be informed that, due to Safety and Security reasons, in order to enhance the facility at the Dry port in Riyadh the National Security Authority of Saudi Arabia enforced an Embargo for all DG shipments (both FCL and LCL) to Riyadh Dry port, till further notice.
Therefore, all DG shipments, if any may be rerouted to Dammam port instead of Riyadh port till further notice. Consignee to clear the cargo at Dammam.
This will be in force from 1st Feb 2021 arrival at Riyadh Dry Port.
