IntroductionSelf-motivated Reservoir Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the Oil Industry and Master degree in Petroleum Engineering achieved in Texas A&M University. I have performed several and continuous position in Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering and Reservoir Management in Venezuela, México, Colombia and Ecuador. Managerial and supervisor positions held with PDVSA in Venezuela, and Schlumberger in México; recently, Petroleum Engineer Team Leader in development and exploitation of Oil and Gas fields (Clastic and Carbonate) under primary and EOR exploitation processes.

My experience is extensive in development and managing a wide range of oil & gas fields operated by PDVSA (Venezuela), Pemex (Mexico), Ecopetrol and Petroamazonas in alliance with Schlumberger. Expertise in reserves estimation and reservoir surveillance, thermal projects in shallow reservoirs with continue and cycle Steam Injection, Well Test design and interpretation. Technical Team Leader in exploration wells in Deep and Ultra-deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where I worked for more than one year in Plegado Perdido. During my last job I was driving simulation in Eclipse 100 and Petrel 2014 (intermediate level). I have bilingual skills in Spanish as a native language and English at a technical level.

I define myself as a competent, experienced and dedicated Petroleum Engineer with drive, overview and good communicator as well as team-builder and player. Highly analytical and very proactive, seeking realistic solutions.

My experience has been diverse, in clastic and carbonate environments, heavy and light crude, onshore and offshore environments for mature and new field developments. It is a mature field with more than 100 years of exploitation. I was responsible of Reservoir Engineering activities in the Integrated Reservoir Study. Main responsibilities were: Analysis of existing reservoir information and planning for acquisition of new data. Analysis and validation of production, injection and pressure historical data, analysis and interpretation of well test data, maximum and optimum well rate estimation (Nodal analysis), analysis and proposal for chemical water control methods, quick remedial action proposals for wells reactivation and new wells drilling, OOIP and reserves estimation by deterministic and probabilistic methods.
