Achievements
This year I am the new French Social Secretary This role includes planning and organising events to bring
together all students who study French or are here on their year abroad, I will have to budget and pitch plans to the committee and promote events to fellow students. This proves that I’m a proactive student, who is committed and reliable to do the job efficiently and well.
I am involved with the Newcastle University ApprenticeJust like the Alan Sugar televised business completion, I take part in activities such as pitching, budgeting, building a strong team and innovating new ideas. One of the key skills that I’ve learnt is how to negotiate and sell products. I am currently in the final of the completion beating many other applicants.
It’s in my interest to attend as many business talks as I can. Talks such as the CFO of Barbour and a day called Genesis, run in support of young entrepreneurs have inspired to me and taught me new skills on how to network, pitch ideas and talk in front of large groups.

it’s not only a challenge but I can be creative and adventurous and try new foods. Time management is key to successful cooking and it’s something I pride myself on, not only with cooking but with my studies and working life.
One of my greatest interests is to learn, I love to travel, to see and immerse myself in new cultures with new foods, fashions and beliefs. French is ranked the sixth most widely spoken language in the world, a language is a huge insight to a different life, it helps to improve my communication skills, when speaking to strangers in a different language.

Administrator, Pertemps, Branches in the North of England 2013-2014
In peak seasons, I have worked in various Pertemps branches in the north of England. I do
administrative work and help with the payroll process. I am proactive and good at processing
information on the computer. This summer I have maintained the social media pages on
Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for Pertemps branches in Warrington and Leeds as well as
working from home loading CVs on to the Job Matching system on Citirix.

Both in Newcastle and Holmfirth I have a bar job. This intimate music venue and busy city
bar has taught me how to work well in a team, the need to be proactive and offer
good customer service. On occasion this job has taught me how to deal with difficult
situations efficiently, quickly and in the best interests of the customer. I have five years of bar
experience and really enjoy the pressure to keep up with the work load. My roles include
glass collecting, cleaning as well as serving until the early hours. I am very goodat mental arithmetic as all orders are doing mentally without an electronic till.
Waitress, Wagon & Horses, Langsett 2008-2010
Previously I have worked as a waitress in a country pub called the Wagon & Horses in
Langsett. Working in a team, together we shared all roles such as washing up, cleaning,
serving and preparing meals.
