I was tasked with editing previous models using CAD and creating a bill of materials for the specific container. I built the electrical circuit and the control panel using two-dimensional design programs and created a fascia for the container with instructions in French. I was also able to observe the executive board meetings to gain an understanding of project management in industry. January 2012. Communication & Leadership My communication skills have developed through many presentations and meetings in front of my peers and

staff. Using different mediums, I have taken part in both group and individual exhibitions relating to my studies and to external topics whilst at school and during my time at university.

Dedicated member and leader at Urban Saints Ireland since 2007, for children aged 10-18. This involves communicating with other members of the leadership team, presenting to an audience on a regular basis and it has improved my communication skills with people of various age ranges.

University Badminton committee member 2013-present. This involves recruiting new members, team selections, management, leadership, coaching, working with international students, organising and hosting Varsities, an annual inter-university competition, managing money and resources for the club.

School Prefect 2012/2013, School Monitor 2008/2009, Technology and Design Mentor 2012/2013, Information Communication Technology Mentor 2012/2013. In all of these positions I was an advocate for the younger pupils in my school, outlining any problems or issues of the classes to staff members and facilitating staff by providing one on one help to pupils who were struggling with specific subjects. I also had extra responsibilities to fulfil alongside these duties which enabled me to learn time management and further my organisational skills.

As part of my degree, small group work is required. During these projects I have developed my ability to work with a team as well as help build and encourage a team. It also enables me to gain experience working with various types of people. I have volunteered to plan meeting times to accommodate team members during projects which has benefited my organisational skills.

Member of QUB Badminton first team 2013- present. Joining the badminton team has also benefited my skills in interacting with international students as most of my team members are not from the UK.

Bloomfield Collegiate Badminton Team 2006-2013. Captain of my senior badminton team 2011-2013. Bloomfield Collegiate XI Hockey Team 2011-2013

Employment Summary

Five week product design internship with Innoview Design Studio in Nanjing, China. Aug-Sept 2015. Childcare for numerous families 2011-2013. This position of responsibility gave me opportunity to develop my

skills involving looking after others, negotiating, creativity, communication with different ages and work ethic as well as being able to help other families at the same time.
