    RESEARCH FIELDS Thin structures: Models and computations of structures composed by elastic, viscoelastic or

    viscoplastic beams, plates and shells. Contact mechanics: mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of contact problems with

    friction, adhesion or wear in elastic, viscoelastic and viscoplastic structures. Biomechanics: numerical simulation and mathematical models for human mandible and bone

    remodelling. Mechanical design: steering wheels for vehicles, brackets in orthodontics.

    TECHNOLOGY SERVICES Mathematical modelling and analysis in solid structures (pieces, bridges, buildings, vehicles): beams,

    plates, shells, vibrations, contact, adhesion, wear, heat transfer, plastification, memory materials, ... Analysis and programming numerical algorithms for solving on the computer, models for elastic,
