Developing of an integrated circuits processing laboratory for Telekom Malaysia Berhad. This laboratory consist of class 1000 and class 100 clean rooms equip with basic integrated circuits fabrication facilities base on 3 micron technology 3. Design and Fabrication of Microelectronic Devices Begin: January 1991 Place: Dept. of Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering. This project is to design and study the electrical characteristics of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. 4. Microsensor Fabrication Begin: June 1995 Place: Dept. of Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering. Research grand: RM489,000, IRDD 098 Telekom Malaysia This project can be divided into two activities, process module studies and device fabrication. Process module studies are,

1. To study and characterize the PECVD deposition process. The deposited films are silicon nitride, silicon dioxide, and doped amorphous silicon.

2. To study the process condition for the etching of insulator thin film and semiconductor using wet and dry technique. This condition is very important for making microstructure pattern on silicon wafer. Dry etching technique for silicon micromachining.
