Using a favorite applique method, applique the moon onto the background block. Applique the witch silhou-ette on the moon. The witch silhouette may be padded with a small amount of Cluster Fiber Fill. Add the Clus-ter Fiber Fill as the witch is stitched down to make it easier to pad the silhouette. Do not over ll the padding or the applique will pucker the fabric behind it. This design is ideal for the back basting method of applique. Detailed Instructions for creating back-basting applique can be found on the designer’s website: http://www.artbyalexa.com/Tutorials.html

Optional: After completing all the stitching, black fabric glitter can be applied lightly to the witch silhouette.

Press block lightly face down on a white towel to cushion applique.
