We certainly have enjoyed the past sales and wish our best to the Robson & Beagle families with their sale on March 7th. Welcome to the 10th edition of the Cutting Edge.

The bulls on offer this year for your evaluation

are sound in structure, excellent hair coats,

soft in their make-up, great performance, maternal

power, lots of testicle development and most of all

have excellent dispositions. This may be one of the

heaviest influence of SAV 707 Rito 9969 offerings

that you will find. We really like how the Rito 9969’s

work, his daughters are super, his son’s will match raw

power from any breed.

The past year has been a great one! The fall feeder

sales were epic – so many happy people in one

place. The fall purebred sales had to be close to

breaking records with topping sale averages. Those

of us still in the livestock sector are finally getting rewarded. Indeed it is

an exciting time to be raising the best cattle one can.

We had a fabulous summer watching Will & Wyatt participate in 4-H, the Alberta Junior

Angus Association Show, Summer Synergy, Alberta 4-H Provincial Beef Heifer Show.

They both are learning so much from these awesome programs. These are some of

my fondest memories of the summer, watching values grow strong and passing the

tradition on.

As the cattle industry enjoys a very strong market it is enjoyable to be in such a positive industry with calves

bringing premiums. We have a set of bulls in the 2015 offering that will help ensure you get your share of

the profit from the cattle industry. We research and select the top genetics that will continually improve our

cowherd, which in turn gives us the opportunity to offer you some of the best Angus genetics available.

The feeding program has remained the same. The home raised, rolled oat based ration at about 1% body weight

and good free choice hay, has allowed our bulls to perform, grow and mature at reasonable rates with their future

in mind.Our red and black bulls are comparable in genetics and performance. Our Cutting Edge bulls are selected from

over 50 bulls retained from a 200 head cow herd base. These bulls are pail fed, leading them to be docile, while

maintaining their soundness and activity in a large group.

As this sale takes place when most of the bulls are just over 12 months old, and our weather can be unpredictably

cold, the bulls may need to return to the farm after the sale for semen testing when they have matured more and

the weather is more favorable. Delivery to your farm will follow.
