Shape – Choose Rectangle, Square, Round, or Oval.
Edge – Choose Bind or Serge. Binding is the same durable edge finish used on the carpet display samples. Serging wraps yarn around the edge of the rug in one continuous strand. In both binding and serging, the color is chosen to match the dominant color in the carpet.Backing – Choose Standard or Black Felt. Standard backing is the same backing as the carpet. Black Felt is a secondary backing that may be used to cover seams of custom-made border rugs.

There are 3 options for extra material.Order another rug(s) using the same style & color and only be charged for fabrication and delivery on the additional rug(s).
• Rug size(s) cannot exceed the total amount of extra material available.• Rug size(s) from extra material may not be exact because the primary rug is processed first.• Rug(s) from extra material must have the same binding as the primary rug.• Rug(s) from extra material will be rolled and shipped with the primary rug.

Request in Special Instructions that the extra material be sent with the rug.Extra material will be rolled and shipped unbound with the primary rug.2
If no alternate instructions are given, the extra material will be recycled.3

Some carpets have a pattern shape or scale that makes them look different when viewed in the vertical (or machine) direction versus the horizontal (or cross machine) direction.Carpet display samples are oriented such that the length of the sample represents the vertical or machine direction and the width of the sample represents the horizontal or cross machine direction (see above right).
You control the pattern orientation in the rug by specifying the width and length desired.
The width entered (up to 12') will be cut across the width of the carpet.The length entered (up to 36') will be cut along the length of the carpet.

You control material utilization by specifying the width and length desired.• The width entered (up to 12’) will be cut across the width of the carpet.• The length entered (up to 36’) will be cut along the length of the carpet.
If the carpet has no pattern, or if pattern orientation is not important, please refer to these examples when entering your order to reduce or eliminate extra material and help lower your cost.
