Lowe’s has updated several procedures to the RTM and Markdown policies. It is important that you communicate these policies to your stores. These policies are as follows:

RTM / Markdown PolicyRTM / Markdown Policy-- When a Lowe’s Associate cuts a Custom Size Now blind or shade to an incorrect size, they should NOT automatically charge this to the defective allowance. The correct procedure is to mark the packaging with a “Pre-cut Blind Label” and mark the width that it has been cut to and the retail price should be reduced. ONLY defective product should be charged to the defective allowance.
