Gauze belts are used in many food and non-food processes. Wellwaij Belting supplies polyester gauze belts for professional use. Fully customized, which will optimally contribute to the production process of your machine.
Gauze belts are used for many applications, such as:• Washing, rinsing and/or drying fruit,
vegetables and flower bulbs;• Drying herbs;• Drainage and washing of fish
and shellfish;• Cooling products;• Filter and sieving;• Washing of plastics in the waste

Product range Wellwaij gauze belts are blue and available in different mesh widths: Mesh width Open surface500 mµ Ca. 15,50% 1000 mµ Ca. 30,00% 2000 mµ Ca. 45,00%3000 mµ Ca. 56,25%
The choice of the mesh widths depends, among other things, on the:- Size of the product;- The required permeability- The volumes to be processed.
Custom-made fabrication Wellwaij delivers custom-made gauze belts. Depending on your requirements and application, your belts can be fitted with accessories, such as guides, spill edges and corrugated sidewalls. In case of inclined and downward transport, straight or bent (finger) cleats can be applied to prevent roll-back of products and to increase the lifting capacity. Edges are sealed and reinforced with PVC, PU, PE or Hytrel seal edges. And for heavier applications, the belt is reinforced with length and width strips for more stability.
