In 2009, after years in the test kitchen, Timothy was ready to bring his creative visions to a larger audience and to introduce Canadians to a different approach to chocolate. He founded Uniquolate with his friend Mary with the idea of personalized chocolate. Whether it was through stamps, molds or different fillings, he wanted every chocolate lover to undergo a rich and unique experience. lover to undergo a rich and unique experience. Timothy achieved those exquisite chocolates by personally selecting each ingredient that would go into the final confection. He would meticulously see to each step that turned those fine ingredients into finer confections, using traditional European methods and equipment. He purchases ingredients locallylocally, keeping the chocolates affordable while having the environment in mind.
