System of Education Underwent

At the age of 7, lost my eye sight in both eyes due to the growth of Brain Tumor on the Optic Nerve. As per the guidance of National Association for the Blind (NAB), Karnataka Branch, I was able to continue my education under the Integrated Scheme of Education for the Blind.

To work for the upliftment of Handicapped Women & fighting for their Rights.

Campaigned for providing insurance policies for Divyangs by Life Insurance Corporation. Campaigned for Census of the Disabled for the Media at Bangalore Press Club in February 2001. Campaigned for Inclusion of Education for Disabled Children Organised by C.B.R. Network at Press Club, Bangalore on 10.05.2016. Campaigned and was successful in implementation of Swavalamban Card “Unique Identity Card” for differently abled persons (just like Adhaar card) from Central Government of India in June 2019.

Abroad Visits

In March 1990, I was the only candidate selected from India by an Organization named "SIGHT SAVERS" (Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind) to participate in the 40th Anniversary Celebrations in Britain. There I had the unique opportunity of meeting the Queen Elizabeth and garlanding her at West Minister's Abbey which is a memorable event in my Life.

In December 2003, I visited Lahore to attend an Youth Conference organized by the Asian Blind Union and Pakistani Blind Association.
