Co-organized the first TEEB capacity-building workshop in the MENA region in partnership with UNEP/TEEB, the CBD Secretariat, UNESCWA and the League of Arab States (Beirut, Feb. 2012, 80 participants).

Participated in the international workshop “Towards a Sound Financial Architecture for Sustainable Forest Management (SFM): The Role of National Forest Funds” (Turrialba, Costa-Rica, Jan. 2013).

Designed a project component on the improvement of value chains of Non-Wood Forest Products in CPMF countries.

Supervised economic valuation studies of forests goods and services in Morocco and Lebanon.

Designed cross-sectoral capacity development concepts for adaptation to climate change (in particular Forest Ecosystem-based Adaptation) following the OECD methodology, with participation of the ministries of environment, economy and trade, finance, tourism, agriculture i.a. in CPMF partner countries; organized and facilitated related-trainings in Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.
