Article on “Preconciliar American Catholic Ecumenism, 1945-60." Needs polishing for

publication.

Long-term research project on the confessional in American Catholic history. A theological, historical, and cultural examination of the rise and fall of the use of the confessional (and all that that implies) in the United States between 1790 and 2009. Envision a book manuscript to be entitled The Confessional. I have been gathering bibliographical resources on this project for over ten years.
